How these practice exams are written
Most practice banks do not say where their questions come from. This one does, because the method is the product.
Sourced from the official guides
Every exam fact on this site — question count, time limit, scoring scale, pass mark, fee, retake policy, domain names and their exact weightings — is taken from the published exam guide for that certification and stored in one place in the codebase. Pages read from it rather than restating it, so nothing can quietly drift out of step with the guide, and an automated check fails the build if a page makes a claim the guides do not support.
Questions are distributed across domains in the published proportions. If a domain is 14% of the real exam, it is close to that share of the practice bank — so what you practise matches what you will be tested on.
Every technical claim is checked
Practice questions about a fast-moving platform go stale, or were never right. Each flag, environment variable, configuration key, API parameter and protocol method used in these banks was checked against current documentation before it was allowed into a question. Where something could not be confirmed, the question was rewritten rather than shipped on a guess — including cases where the documentation contradicted itself.
A wrong answer that sounds authoritative is worse than no question at all, because you would learn it.
Wrong answers are wrong for a reason
Every option carries a written explanation, not just the correct one. A wrong option tells you why it fails in this situation and where it would genuinely be the right choice — because most of them are real techniques, correctly described, that simply do not fit the scenario.
That is deliberate. Distractors that are obviously silly teach you to spot silly distractors, which is not a skill the real exam rewards.
Guessability is measured, not assumed
A practice bank can be beaten without knowing anything, if the correct answer is reliably the longest option, or the only one without an absolute in it. Those cues are measured here and held near chance — the correct answer is the longest option roughly a quarter of the time, and the shortest roughly a quarter, across every bank.
The target is not to make the questions maximally hard. It is to match how guessable the real exam's own published samples are, so practice scores mean something.
