How the paper is weighted

The blueprint decides how many questions each domain is worth. The counts below are that weighting applied to 53 questions, which is the useful way to read it: a domain worth a handful of marks does not deserve an evening.

What a scaled score means

CCDV-F is criterion-referenced: you pass by meeting a fixed standard, not by finishing above other candidates. The reported number runs from 100 to 1000 and the pass sits at 720.

That number is not a percentage and does not map cleanly onto a count of correct answers, because questions are not all worth the same in the scaling. The practical consequence is that there is no safe number of questions to give up on. Answer everything, including the ones you are guessing, since nothing is deducted for a wrong answer.

Timing

120 minutes across 53 questions is about 2.3 minutes each. That is comfortable for most questions and tight for the longest ones, so the pacing risk is spending too long early rather than running out of reading speed.

Questions here stand alone rather than being grouped under shared scenarios, so there is no reading overhead to amortise and you can move at a steady rate throughout.

Registration, retakes and validity

Registration runs through Anthropic's Partner Academy and requires a Claude Partner Network company-domain email address. Confirm you have one before planning a sitting, because it gates every one of the four certifications equally.

If it goes wrong, the waiting period between attempts lengthens each time: 14, then 30, then 90 days, with at most 4 attempts in a rolling year. You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours beforehand. A pass is valid for 12 months.
